Discover Lewers Garden: Printmaking Workshop

Make your own silk screen printed tea towels

Explore Lewers Garden with Artist/Printmaker, Freedom Wilson and Heritage Gardener, Shayne Roberts. Make your own silk screen printed tea towels inspired by the stories, shapes, shadows and silhouettes of the garden. Participants develop a hand cut paper stencil from many possibilities, leaves, flower parts, mushrooms or trees, to print onto two linen tea towels to take home.

*Participants will be provided a choice of Natural and White tea towels, but are also welcome to bring in their own fabric to print on, so long as its a 100% natural fabric – ie. Linen, cotton or bamboo.
