Watercolour Workshop
Adult Workshop with Jennie Deane
Spend a day immersed in nature and creativity in a watercolour workshop led by Blue Mountains artist Jennie Deane of Hiccup Art.
During this full day session you will learn simple landscape and plant drawing, and how to use, mix and control watercolour paints. The workshop will be held in the relaxed setting of our creative studios, with inspiration gathered from the Penrith Regional Gallery heritage garden in full spring bloom. You will take home some finished pieces ready to frame plus a watercolour card to paint on. All materials are provided.
This program is designed for adult participants. No previous experience required.

- Watercolour techniques
- Colour mixing
- Creative painting techniques
- Layering, depth of field, textures and fine detail
- Paper choices and reusing test papers for projects such as tags, bookmarks and earrings
