Young artists can embrace a unique technique for creating portraits in this workshop incorporating portraiture and acrylic painting on different surfaces. Participants will draw inspiration from the work of Leanne Tobin in the exhibition Ngalawan: We Live. We Remain to create their own artworks exploring the use of colour and texture to capture personality. An experienced artist-educator will guide students to draw a self-portrait and then transform this into an expressive painting.
