Create a three-dimensional portrait of someone special to you in this fun clay workshop. Children with gather inspiration from portraits by Leanne Tobin in the exhibition Ngalawan: We Live. We Remain and learn techniques that artists use to capture personality through the medium of portraiture. Our artist-educator will share tips for building and creating shape and texture with clay and assist children to go home with an artwork they are proud of.

Children are encouraged to bring a photo of a person they would like to create a portrait of.

Add on an Expressive Painted Portraits workshop for a full day of artmaking fun! A supervised lunch break will be provided for students who have booked into both the Expressive Painted Portraits and Clay Portraits workshops.
