Clay Animals for 9-12 years

Artists aged 9 – 12 will delight in sculpting their favourite Australian animals from clay in a fun hands-on workshop. Our artist educator will guide children in basic hand building techniques using air dry clay, before exploring creating texture on their creatures and colouring with watercolour paints. The workshop includes a visit to Blak Douglas’s exhibition Blak Douglas: The Halfway Line to draw inspiration from the animals featured in the artist’s work.

• This workshop is suitable for children aged 9 – 12 years.
• Bookings close Tuesday 8 July at 9am.

• Please wear clothes you and your little one are happy to make a mess in and bring your water bottle and a small snack.
