Learn how to navigate the arts industry in ways that are equitable and ethical as you build your arts practice

National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) is a Membership organisation which brings together the many voices of the contemporary arts sector to improve fundamental conditions of work and practice. We do this through advocacy, education and the Code of Practice.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to navigate the arts industry in ways that are equitable and ethical as you build your arts practice. Learn about the Code, what it covers, how to access it, navigate it, and when to use it. Participants will walk away with an understanding on how to get paid fairly and advocate for their worth; important learnings for sustaining professional practice in the current climate. There will be a Q&A at the end of the session, where you can ask questions about working in the arts sector.
