Sound surrounds us everyday. Taking the time to sit with and capture the soundscape of Penrith Regional Gallery and the Lewers Bequest reveals vibrancy and detail that often goes unnoticed.
Join artist Sirinya Stuebe in a series of deep listening exercises the develop your own abstract soundscape artwork and contribute to the development of the 2026 Mural Project at Lewers: Penrith Regional Gallery.
Materials will be provided – participants are encouraged to bring their own if they prefer working with a particular medium.

Sirinya Stuebe is an emerging Thai-Australian artist based on Dharug, Gundungurra and Gadigal lands. Primarily working with sculptural forms, her practice often comes back to found materials, including objects, recycled fabrics, language, and most recently sound, using these materials to reframe how we engage with our everyday lives and identities. Interactive installation is a key element in her work, exploring the audience as inherent to the artwork, whether this is through sensory, textual or interactive experiences.
Sirinya Stuebe was an artist in the 2025 Ancher Points program and was selected as the recipient of the Ancher Points 2026 Mural Project.
