Calling Panthers Fans! – Outside The Stadium Call Out

Are you a Panthers fan? How do you show your true colours?

All sporting codes and teams have fans, but none are quite as passionate, vocal and supportive as Panthers fans.

In a cultural project celebrating fandom, Penrith Regional Gallery has engaged celebrated photographer – and Panthers fan – Lyndal Irons – to capture images and stories from in and around Penrith, of people wearing their Panther-filled hearts on their sleeves, their cars, their faces, their homes, bedrooms, businesses; their streets, perhaps even their pets.

We’re calling out for your stories – what are you doing to celebrate and show your support? We’d love to photograph your work-in-progress, the behind the scenes activity and preparation; your treasures and what they mean to you. Photography will be done before, during and after matches.

The portraits will be displayed on the windows of the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, in celebration of this pivotal moment – whatever the final result.
