OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS – PENRITH YOUTH ART PRIZE 2025

Calling all young artists in our community!

The Penrith Youth Art Prize is back in 2025 with the theme ‘echoing nature’.

We are asking artists to explore and celebrate the dynamism of the natural world through their creativity. Whether it is the vibrant colours of the sunset over the Nepean River, the towering height of a eucalyptus tree, or the streamlined shape of a pelican’s wing, we want to see how nature inspires you.

WHO CAN ENTER THE PRIZE?

  • Submissions are open to artists living in Penrith, or who have a connection to Penrith and the Gallery.
  • The prize includes two categories: primary (5 – 12 yrs) and secondary (13 – 18 years).
  • For schools, we strongly encourage you to first run your own internal competition then submit your top works (up to 10) into the Youth Art Competition.
