Explore our current exhibitions at your own pace with a free fifteen minute introduction provided by a Gallery staff member of volunteer.

Guided Exhibition Tour
Suitable for Preschool – Year 12

Enjoy a tour and discussion of our current exhibitions. Our gallery staff will lead your group on an engaging tour with activities tailored to the stages of your students.

Price: $10 per students (Minimum $100 spend)


Guided Exhibition Tour and Art Making in the Studio
Suitable for Preschool – Year 12

Take your Guided Exhibition Tour, outlined above, to the next level by adding an art making workshop in the studio.

Price: $20 per students (Minimum $200 spend)

Garden Sculptures Tour
Suitable for Preschool – Year 6

Discover our heritage site including the home and garden of artists Margo and Gerald Lewers and collection of outdoor sculptures in an engaging tour perfect for younger students.

Price: $10 per student (Minimum $100 spend)


Collection Up Close
Suitable for Years 5 – 12

Discover the Gallery’s rich collection of artworks from Modernist paintings and sculptures to works by contemporary indigenous artists in a behind the scenes tour of our collection store. This program can be tailored to showcase artworks relevant to a study area of your choice and is the prefect springboard for conversations about collection management and careers in museums and galleries.

Price: $20 per students (Minimum $200 spend)


Artist-Led Masterclass
Suitable for Years 11 – 12

Don’t miss our intensive studio sessions for Senior Secondary Students, run throughout the year together with our program highlights. Each session is run by a practicing artist, with a connection to the local area and/or whose work is currently being exhibited at the Gallery.

Booking Conditions

All Early Learning, Primary, Secondary and Home School groups require a booking when visiting the Gallery. This includes paid and free events.

Bookings for all guided visits and workshops require four weeks’ notice.

Changes can be made up until seven days prior to your booking. Any changes to numbers, dates or times must be communicated in writing to the Learning Coordinator gemma.mckenzie-booth@penrith.city

If we do not receive payment by the due date on your invoice, your booking may not be held. If you are having difficulty organising payment, please contact us immediately on 02 4735 1100.

If you wish to cancel your booking, seven working days’ notice is required, otherwise the cost of your excursion will be charged in full.
