An Inclusive Arts Festival: 1 December – 13 December 2009

The Gallery will be presenting the following events for International Day for People With a Disability (IDPWD) The Gallery is calling for artworks, performances and short films to be included in the event. For more information and to register see contact details below.

1 December 10 am – 11.30 am 
Audio description of Visual art in Sizzle
An audio described tour of the visual art in Sizzle, the tour includes morning tea on arrival and then the tour.

2 December
Sizzle – Festival Day 
Performance time 11am – 11.45 am
Come along and enjoy the Gallery’s inaugural inclusive arts festival, with a smorgasbord of art, performances, film and disco dancing.

4 December 10am – 12 noon 
Creative initiatives for carers 
Find out how to make a gallery visit more interesting for your clients. This fun professional development session will include a demonstration of inspiring art making ideas and products presented by Eckersley’s Art & Craft and a screening of 2009 Tropfest winner, Be My Brother. (Starring Gerard Odwyer, directed by Genevieve Clay.)
