RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW is an exhibition of contemporary Sydney artists working at the forefront of contemporary painting. Experimenting with colour, form and spatiality, these dynamic artists are agitating the centuries old art form to create bold, witty and unexpected results.

RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW is an exhibition of contemporary Sydney artists working at the forefront of contemporary painting. Experimenting with colour, form and spatiality, these dynamic artists are agitating the centuries old art form to create bold, witty and unexpected results.

In a world with new technologies, commercial imagery and conceptual art, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW considers how a range of Sydney artists are confronting, challenging and exceeding the traditions of painting in the twenty-first century.

The exhibition takes place across three spaces at Penrith Regional Gallery & the Lewers Bequest and presents a range of recent artworks that test the vitality and relevance of contemporary painting.
