Natural Dyeing Workshop

Public Program

Join exhibiting artist Sairi Yoshizawa for a day of natural dyeing, using plants foraged from our Heritage Garden.

This full-day workshop runs from 10am until 3pm, and all materials are supplied. Dine & Discover vouchers are accepted.

In the morning, participants will explore the gardens before experimenting with a range of dyeing processes.

Following lunch at 1pm, participants will use their experiments and learnings towards a final project; a natural dyed raw silk scarf.

The class includes a break for lunch at 1pm. Reserve a table in advance at Cafe at Lewers or takeaway and enjoy a picnic in the garden.
