Live Performance: Tephra

Public Program

Natasha Dubler is a sound artist and musician based in western Sydney on Dharug land.

Tephra, her first solo exhibition in collaboration with her sister Caitlin Dubler, is currently showing in the Lewers House gallery. In this performance, the sounds of live cello and field recordings are amplified and distorted through the bronze, glass and concrete sculptures in Tephra, blurring the line between performer, sound, and material. Listeners are encouraged to walk through the four rooms of Lewers House during the performance and tune into the shifting sonic environment.

Following the performance join us for Simmer: Naomi Oliver and George Tillianakis.
