Precipitating the Hydrocene (I’m raining in your lungs) is performed by Bailey-Charteris for Undercurrents. It is an encounter within the space where participation meets precipitation in the Gallery.

The reading begins with an allegory of rain as rhythm in the writing of scientist Rachel Carson, and then moves into other precipitational parts of the Hydrocene, a term Bailey-Charteris proposes to name the dramatic planetary shift towards thinking with and collaborating with water during the current climate crisis.
