IMPORTANT UPDATE: In light of the significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the community, Penrith Regional Gallery has made the decision to cancel our forthcoming Community Day, this Saturday 8 January. The Community Day was an opportunity to celebrate The Archibald Prize 2020 Regional Tour, which will close this Sunday 9 January, and as such there is no option to postpone. The safety of both the community and our staff is critical in making these difficult decisions. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be shared on our social media platforms on Saturday afternoon, as well as a recap of the Young Archies finalists.
Join Archibald Prize 2020 Finalists Abdul Abdullah, Katherine Edney and Nick Stathopoulos in the gallery for a discussion of their portraits and the ideas, relationships and processes behind the work.
This tour of the Archibald Prize 2020 exhibition is free.
All bookings for this event will close on Friday 7 January at 3pm.
The Archibald Prize 2020 is an Art Gallery of New South Wales touring exhibition with presenting partner ANZ.
