Birds in the Garden – Photography by Warren Chad

Birds in the Garden photographic exhibition is an outcome of the long term Friendship relationship between Penrith City Council and Lachlan Shire Council, in the North West of NSW. Over coming years a number of visual arts creative projects, between both regional councils, will be auspiced by Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest, under the banner River to River. The intention is to foster and develop creativity, and to provide opportunities for artists working in both geographical settings. Over a few days in Spring 2012, Warren Chad, Lachlan Shire ‘Twitcher’ and Photographer was invited to spend time at Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest Garden to document the extraordinary array of birds which visit our garden.
